Free Activities
There is plenty of time to enjoy tours and activities during your time at Manuel Antonio Spanish School. We offer a program of free activities available to anybody participating in any Spanish Program. Join us for weekly visits to the farmer’s market, hiking and dance classes. Our students have access to free snorkel and surfboard use while they are at the school.
ADVENTURE TOURS
CANOPY ZIPLINE IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Cross hanging bridges and fly from tree to tree on a high adrenaline zipline course. Gain a new perspective from the very top of the rainforest and lose your fear of heights.
ATV IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Drive through the palm plantations and cross rivers on your way to a private nature reserve. Take a refreshing dip in a waterfall pool before continuing your adventure across a unique landscape.
WATERFALL TOURS
Hike to some of Costa Rica’s most impressive waterfalls. Swim in the pools and challenge yourself to jump from the ledges. Enjoy the natural waterfall massage and spot the surrounding wildlife.
SKYDIVING IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Jump from 9000 feet and experience free fall with a tandem jump, no experience necessary! Float back to earth with a parachute and take in the spectacular coastline and jungle views.
ON THE WATER TOURS
CATAMARAN TOURS IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Cruise past the National Park towards open water where you may spot dolphins, whales and sea turtles. Jump or take the slide into the water and enjoy some snorkeling before a delicious lunch on the catamaran.
OCEAN KAYAKING IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Kayak along the rugged coastline from Quepos towards Manuel Antonio. Watch out for the seabirds overhead and jumping fish before you reach the snorkeling spot.
PADDLEBOARD IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Keep your balance on a stand-up paddleboard and get a work-out as you paddle between islands and across the open sea. Take a break on a secret beach before continuing the coastal tour.
SURFING IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Experience your first waves with a surf lesson from a professional instructor. Enjoy the warm water and come away with a new skill and the photos to prove it!
RAFTING TOURS IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Hold on tight as you navigate the whitewater rapids of one of our local rivers. Enjoy the ride and the magnificent scenery as your guide steers you safely onwards. Choose from Class II-IV rapids.
PARASAILING IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Lift off from the beach and fly high above the water on a tour of the nearby islands. Enjoy incredible views of the coastline and a gentle landing in the water before returning to shore by jetski.
SCUBA DIVING IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Discover the underwater landscape as you visit protected dive sites off the coast of the National Park. Look out for tropical coral formations, pufferfish, huge lobster and sea turtles.
SPORT FISHING IN MANUEL ANTONIO
Leave Quepos marina in a state of the art charter boat and try your hand at fishing for yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, sailfish and marlin. If you are lucky, you can enjoy your catch for dinner.

A guided tour of the national park will bring you up close and personal with tropical birds, reptiles, sloths and monkeys. Learn about this unique ecosystem and come away with incredible photos.

Tour an organic farm specializing in vanilla, cinnamon and cacao. Learn about the history and culture of different spices and native plants. Observe each stage of cultivation and processing before tasting the finished products.

Hike through primary rainforest and discover the hidden world of Costa Rica’s native bees. Help to harvest honey from the hives and visit the on-site lab to see the production of honey wine, medicinal extracts and cosmetics.
